The next of our holiday themed Shakeology drinks! This peppermint mocha is perfect in place of your regular cup of coffee. I often use peppermint extract in my chocolate shake and the addition of coffee in this one was super yummy! The original recipe called for 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract but that was a little too strong of a peppermint flavor for me, so I decreased it to 1/2 teaspoon. Definitely experiment with yours to see how much you like!

Peppermint Mocha Shakeology ?

1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
1 cup unsweetened, cold black coffee
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
unsweetened almond milk, to taste
Crushed ice
Add ingredients to blender, blend, and enjoy! ?

*For an extra punch, after you blend, add two teaspoons of crushed candy cane, and pulse the blender twice. I found this gave a nice little crunch and added minimal calories!
