Caramel Macchiato Shakeology

This Caramel Macchiato Shakeology recipe is a healthy twist on another Starbucks calorie-laden favorite. This can be made with our without coffee. If omitting the coffee, just add extra almond milk. I used caramel extract in mine but look for sugar free caramel coffee syrup if you want an extra kick.

1 scoop of Cafe Latte Shakeology
1 teaspoon of raw, local honey
2 teaspoons of Sugar Free Caramel Syrup (not the type that goes on a sundae – the kind they sell in the coffee aisle or on Amazon! Or use caramel extract)
1/2 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup of cold, black, unsweetened coffee
Crushed ice
Add ingredients to blender, blend, and enjoy!

Snickerdoodle Shakeology

This Snickerdoodle recipe is one of my favorite holiday Shakeology recipes that I have shared. It’s so simple but SUPER yummy. Definitely try this the next time you’re craving Christmas cookies or other sugary holiday treats.

1 scoop of Vanilla Shakeology
2 tablespoons of almond butter
1 teaspoon of raw, local honey
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1.5 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Crushed ice

Thin Mint Shakeology

It’s no secret that I am a BIG mint chocolate person. Favorite ice cream? Mint chocolate chip. Those Andes mints? Give them to me NOW. Thin mints? The sleeve is one serving size, right? I mean, wouldn’t want them to get stale. So, needless to say, one of my go-to Shakeology treats has been adding peppermint extract to my chocolate shake. But, I have never tried mint extract (apparently there’s a difference, who knew?) and it is SO GOOD. Move over peppermint, I have a new favorite accompaniment to my chocolate shake!

Strawberry Cheesecake Shakeology

This Strawberry Cheesecake Shakeology is perfect for the holidays or anytime you need to kick a sugar craving. You can find the cheesecake pudding mix on Amazon or you can skip it altogether. Definitely opt for fat free cream cheese which is only an additional 30 calories and gives this a decadent creaminess. Again, if you use regular almond milk you can add in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Also, I like to use frozen strawberries in place of ice if you have them on hand.

Candy Cane Shakeology

For our next holiday Shakeology recipe, what could be more appropriate than Candy Cane? I put peppermint extract in my chocolate Shakeology all the time but I never thought about trying it in vanilla! It was a lovely change up from plain vanilla and I think this one will be in my rotation from now on. I didn’t have vanilla almond milk on hand so I used my unsweetened original almond milk and just added 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Perfect!

Sugar Cookie Shakeology

Yum! These holiday themed Shakeology treats have been super delicious! Next up we have Sugar Cookie. With the help of butter extract and vanilla this is also reminiscent of birthday cake. You can leave out the vanilla pudding mix if you want and it is still quite delicious just a bit less sweet and decadent.

1 scoop of Vanilla Shakeology
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon butter extract
1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 tablespoon sugar free vanilla pudding mix

Add ingredients to blender, blend, top with sprinkles because why not! and enjoy

Peppermint Mocha Shakeology

The next of our holiday themed Shakeology drinks! This peppermint mocha is perfect in place of your regular cup of coffee. I often use peppermint extract in my chocolate shake and the addition of coffee in this one was super yummy! The original recipe called for 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract but that was a little too strong of a peppermint flavor for me, so I decreased it to 1/2 teaspoon. Definitely experiment with yours to see how much you like!

1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
1 cup unsweetened, cold black coffee
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
unsweetened almond milk, to taste
Crushed ice
Add ingredients to blender, blend, and enjoy! 😋

*For an extra punch, after you blend, add two teaspoons of crushed candy cane, and pulse the blender twice. I found this gave a nice little crunch and added minimal calories!

Gingerbread Latte Shakeology

A fellow coach and I are running a 12 days of Shakeology group where we are sharing 12 holiday inspired Shakeology recipes and so far they are DELICIOUS! I’ll be sharing the recipes here over the next few weeks so stay tuned!

First up is a definite favorite of mine, gingerbread latte! I actually much prefer this to Starbucks syrupy version. We dressed up our shakes with whipped cream for the sake of the photos but really, you don’t need it! These shakes are tasty enough on their own.

New Year New You Challenge Group

I love new year in the same way that I appreciate a Monday … it is a FRESH start, a clean slate. This year I am super excited for my New Year New You online health and fitness accountability group. I have not been as strict over the holiday season as I have been in the past and I, for one, am ready for the fresh start!

I started my health and fitness journey with the 21 Day Fix in June of 2014 and I can’t even begin to express how shocked I am that I have stuck it out this far! I have NEVER stuck to a “diet” or exercise program for more than a couple months. What I found out, is that the 21 Day Fix is more about a lifestyle change than dieting. I have completely changed my thoughts about healthy eating and have learned a TON of info along the way… info that I want to pass along to YOU!

I have been through a lot of ups and downs in my journey and I completely understand that the struggle is REAL. BUT, there is a way to lose weight in a healthy and sustainable manner. We can all do a crazy meal plan and drop some weight but learning how to MAINTAIN that weight loss is what is key. It is all about balance, learning to eat healthy the majority of the time and allowing ourselves to indulge just a little bit.
