Some of you may be joining from my old blog: C + C Marriage Factory. I was never really in love with the name and didn’t have an official focus there so I think it is a perfect time to revamp.
A little about me… I’m Christina and I live in Lancaster County, PA (yes, Amish country, but I never really run into them too much) with my hubs, toddler and baby plus three dogs, two cats, and way too many chickens. I am a self proclaimed lazy person who loves TV and pizza and too much wine. No one was more shocked than me when I started a fitness and healthy eating program that actually worked and managed to lose 27 pounds (that’s the baby weight plus a whole lot more) over 8 months. I still eat pizza and drink wine but on a more limited basis. I’m not perfect and probably lack the determination to get a 6 pack. I just want to feel great when I look in the mirror and zip up my jeans. And I finally do!
As a stay at home mom finding time for preparing healthy meals and daily workouts was big for me. But, I have let some things go. My house is not spotless. Sometimes I forget to give the dogs breakfast until lunchtime. And sometimes the only time to get a workout in is during Sesame Street. And that’s okay because all that matters is that I’m healthy and happy and the best mama I can be.
